Robert Half Office Team Marketing Assistant in Palm Desert, California

A local Non-Profit company is looking for a Marketing Assistant. Marketing Assistant Job Duties: Marketing Assistant responsibilities include assisting in preparing the company's marketing proposals, organizing marketing efforts, conducting market research, preparing standard and custom documents for submittal to clients, tracking project/client opportunities and campaigns, maintenance and improvement of various social media channels representing the company, and development of standard and custom marketing materials. The position will also include administrative assignments as needed in the office including spot clerical, scheduling of meetings and marketing activities, and contract cost tracking and required reporting. The position reports directly to the Executive Vice-President for Marketing and Business Development, and will work closely with other key executives of the firm. Responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant: oUndertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the company's marketing activities oPrepare statements of qualifications, proposals and other material for submittal to clients oAssist in preparing client presentations in Power Point oSupport marketing executives in organizing various projects and business development efforts oConduct market research and analyze capital improvement and other spending plans of potential clients o Compose and post online content on the company's website and social media accounts to drive awareness of the company in key marketplaces. Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.) and measure effectiveness of social media oUpdate spreadsheets, databases and opportunity tracking tools with statistical, financial and non-financial information oAssist in organizing promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success oPrepare, and as needed, participate in promotional presentations oWrite marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc.) to augment the company's presence in the market Requirements of the Marketing Assistant: o Positive approach and attitude with a desire to problem-solve o Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines o Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach o Good understanding of a professional office setting and ability to work in a team environment o Excellent knowledge of MS Office and online marketing applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.).
