Responsible for the daily duties of the Fitness Desk.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
o Unlock/lock doors o Turn on/off Music and lights o Check to make sure all fitness equipment is working o check men's and women's locker rooms for miscellaneous restocking o Open/close register and fill out appropriate paperwork o Make sure sign in sheets are correct and display orderly o Clean and straighten up reception desk as needed o Stock, Clean inventory Retail cabinet o Fold and roll shower towels as needed o Ring up guest and monthly passes, personal training, tennis lessons and class fees. o Make sure copies are made and available for class schedules, sign in sheets, register reconciliation etc. o Restock towels as needed before and after each class o Make sure stereo equipment is working and turned off when all classes are done o Organize equipment after classes are done o Check room for used towels and trash. o Restock and empty soiled towels o Make sure each piece of cardio equipment is clean and has a workout towel in holder o Wipe down all weight machines and free weight rack daily o Wipe down stretch mats, stability ball, medicine balls and rack o Restock towels and empty towel hampers as needed o Refill amenities (shampoo, lotions, etc...) o Clean the shampoo, bath gel, conditioning bottles, and inside lockers daily o Ensure umbrellas are in place, table/chairs are clean and in order, as well as pick up any litter along the pool decks o Ensure that each guest has checked in and paid accordingly o After 3:00 pm make sure children less than 16 years of age are not using the pool. o Check the pool for water clarity, dirt and equipment issues, notify Pool company immediately upon findings o Make sure gates entering the pool area are closed and locked o Check water dispensers o Make sure gates to Zen Garden and spa pool area's are closed o Notify manager if walkways are obstructed or need repair/cleaning

Education and/ or Experience:
Language Skills: Good knowledge of English language, grammar and spelling Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to accurately proofread documents.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percentage.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Personal computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
